da old school jeep

paige got a barbie jeep when she was 2 from nana and papa back in the day...and this spring, it has made a resurgence in our house! i just love it when the old becomes new again.
{i'm hoping for that one to help me out this year for my 40th}

i have found one toy...for now...that causes very few fights, and that b, jk and s all love at the same time. welcome the old school jeep.
the girlies are driving all over the place...seeing new things and driving on new adventures. i heard them say they went to the beach. i wish i was along for that ride!!!
brooke is the only "road safe" driver...as jada, well, she's not quite got the handle on driving with obstacles yet. yesterday, jada hit two mailboxes and knocked over one large green rolling trashcan and we revoked her license until further notice.
so for now, brooke is the driver...
being a chauffeur is super hard work...shewwww.
and yes, it's like 2pm and my kids are in their jammies, with their hair uncombed and playing outside...don't judge me. don't judge me. :]

I think the pics are great and that last one of B is gorgeous. I am sorry but i had to laugh at my Jada girl about running into things. She is a hoot.

AWESOME pictures especially the kast one of Miss Supermodel! I need to find a toy that doesn't create a fuss. We had to come inside today because everyone was fighting over the slide & broom. Go figure! Thank goodness for nap time so I can regroup! lol

That's adorable...and we've got the same OLD jeep, only ours needs a battery. I have a feeling it's going to cost more than the $10 jeep! LOL.

over at GNO, there's a few of us who decided to challenge ourselves last week to perform a random act of kindness.   i talked with my girls and hubs about what we could do... we reserve some funds each month out of our giving to put towards a current or urgent need that we find.  i think it's important to let the kids see how we give as family...and they should be part of that decision too . as we were talking, and eating chinese...come on, you know there would be eating...i open my fortune cookie.  and this is it!! i was out getting a few minutes of alone time and decided to pay hubs forward by getting jiffy lube to do the oil change.  while i was there, i remembered how hard it was being a single mom.  i remembered that the little things, like oil changes, suddenly became bigger things and honestly, more expensive things.  *light bulb!!!* thomas rang me up for my oil change and asked if they had any scheduled appointments that i could pay for.  he looked at me a little odd......

tuesday tribute---for tuesday

go blog yourself has been on my reading list for quite sometime...and so i really came to love little tuesday whitt and her whole sweet fam and became involved in praying for them in tuesday's battle with that stinky neuroblastoma . tuesday's parents are totally amazing...they inspire me! although tuesday went to play with jesus not so long ago, there have been so many people that are changed because of the courage and strength and honesty of the whitt family. on the day of celebration of tuesday's life, a number of folks who couldn't make it out to the funeral, took their kids on a 'wagie ride', which was one of tuesday's fav things. we all posted up our pics...shared our experiences with each other...and hugged our kiddos a little tighter. my kiddos wagie ride is here . from that precious little tuesday and her honorary wagie ride, a blog spawned...of course...and it is dedicated to nothing more than, in their words, "to keep track of lives touc...

one lucky chick

i have been super blessed with a man who not only loves and adores me, but thinks his daughters are all queens deserving of the most love a daddy can give.  in this family, and with other special needs families, there are days that make being fully engaged, well, let's just say difficult. poop, for instance...it's still an issue in our house.  with kids 20, 12, 10, and 7, you would think that we were well past the poop problems, but we are not.  ASD (autism spectrum disorder) is a beast when it comes to poop. and here's a little insight on me...i'm a gagger, meaning the harsh smell of poop or puke makes be puke.  but the amazing hot hubs, he's a beast on the clean up.  poop on the walls...he scrubs it.  poop pasted on the toilet...he cleans it up.  poop on the shower curtain...he washes it.  and he does it without being nasty.  (he doesn't like it...but he does it.) so, when people see our fam and think it's all amazingly perfect and cu...
