A Thorn Among Roses

hard to believe that brooke was ever this small... and so still! {kids entry} b is 2 weeks old in this pic i took in the side yard in ryan's hands...you can see his thumb on the right side. this is the actual shot, no cropping, but sepia toned, which i love! {it's the opening photo in her baby scrapbook} and my adult entry.. one of the girlies i mentored while she was in hs...and i totally still talk with her an dlove her even more today. and she's more than beautiful. there are lots of fun faces to see, so head on over to iheartfaces ...

so, i'm a foster mom...without any foster kiddos right now. but one of my friends has a house full...she's a little nuts like me! anyway, one of her precious peas never got newborn pics. so, i love photography...and babies! and photographing babies is uber great!!! i was so excited...and he was tired and hungry...of course. i love baby expressions and foreheads...look at the intense thought here. and being cute and cuddly is so stinking exhausting! don't you just love those sweet little baby hands and feet??? so, my fun and excitement for this month included doing a photo shoot for some very happy and joyful birthparents who never got newborn pics of their precious pea... it's not much, but it's def something that i know i treasure as a momma...so in honor of project{happy hearts}, i used some of my skills to give a smile to someone in need. come and join in the fun! go see more at chronicles of a mommy .
