play time around here to me often means a big fat mess of horses and princesses and dresses...but the girlies do love to play pretend. they work and work on making everything perfect for the for the drama... bring more stuff in... then move on to the next room for disaster to commence...or playtime, whichever you prefer to say.

as much as i hate to see the summer go, the fall leaves makes me so happy...especially when the kiddos are running and jumping and playing in them! it's so much fun... here's a typical day in the life of our playtime... wondering where the other two are? well, b is usually busy tackling the neighbor boys and paige is doing teen things like texting and sleeping and watching tv...she's not so much into the sliding on the playset anymore! go and have some fun in the leaves...it's gonna be a great weekend! _______________________________ november is national adoption awareness month want a staggering statistic? how about this... each year, one in five children (26,517 in 2006) who are available for adoption turn 18 (age out) and leave foster care without finding a family or being adopted. so what can you do? well, you don't have to adopt kids to help them. you can be an advocate for adoption in your community and with your local government; you can become a foster ...

my great refrig has a totally stupid freezer. actually, the freezer is fine, but the ice maker is definitely possessed. {i'm convinced a little ice man comes in and makes a little ice mountain...backs up everything and viola...water leaking all over the place!} so, as i was frustrated, once again, i poured out all the ice in the sink... and then it happened. playtime erupted in the ice. the ground is covered in snow...but there's ice in the sink! throw a little nana in, and it's definitely an awesome time to be had.
