love my hair and WW

if you have a chocolate latte, brown baby girl, you need to own this book {click the pic...it's a linky to amazon.com}. i'm shouting it from the roof tops because it is so stinking cute i can't stand it. we've had it for a few years, but now that jk is almost 4, she's really into the styles of her hair.

last night, she asked me if i could please use coconut oil grease on her hair and make pretty rows like the corn...proving that if you read your kids books, something sticks in their little heads...it's like word for word. crazy!

so anyway, i did a bit of front braiding and left the back "free" in a puff. jada calls her afro 'classy fluffy'...and ihave no idea where she got that one, but it's pretty right on!

i have to say, hair is super fun for girlies...it takes some time, but it's a lot of fun!

What a SWEETHEART!!! and I'm LOL@ Classy fluffy. What a funny girl.
LOVE it - my dear friend just adopted a sweet baby that she added to her family of ALL boys. I am highly recommending this book to her, she is already stressing for the hair do's she's going to be asked to do! (her boys all have super short hair, and a few years ago, they sported a mo-hawk!)

Classy Fluffy? haha *snort* Now THAT is super cute!

Did I ever tell you my friend Theressa had to explain to me what a weave was about 5 years ago? I grew up in Montana for criminy sake!

She also teased me that I would have "cornrow" instead of cornrows because my hair is so fine!

We are on our second copy of that book. Love that book. The other one we love is "I Like Myself"

Her hair turned out darling! I still can't do a decent corn row to save my life. You have any tips?

I'm gonna try to grab this book for some friends of mine at our church who have been paying somenoe to braid their adopted babies hair!
