manly baking

ryan, b and jk did a little holiday baking {{kind of}}

the only tool of the trade needed for the manly man's baking...scissors
{{notice the santa apron}}

the 'break apart" maneuver and teaching session

proper placement...and sweet little girl hands

finally...big smiles and hugs waiting for the smell of fresh baked cookies!

notice there's no finshed product pick...yep, we ate them up and then remembered.  ooops!
so i'm totally not knocking the manly cooking style, bc the cookies were, well, fresh baked cookies and i didn't have to do it!!

Those are my favorite type of cookies...the hubs too. He is such a sucker for 'fresh baked cookies' that I keep the break apart cookies in the fridge at all times. He can cook up a few when he wants them and then the next day he can have more fresh baked..yum!

Love the pics!

Awwww I love it! Actually in our house, my husband's the baker, and I prefer the 'scissors only' type of baking. I'll do the other, but I like to keep it simple. ;O)

That looked like a very happy event with Dad. The kids look like they are having fun. In our household there would not be that many cookies on the tray..we eat the dough!

That's MY kind of baking....obviously (if you saw my Tuesday post). LOL. Hey - as long as they are delicious, and obviously they were) you're golden. And you're right - YOU didn't have to do it. Bonus.

I highly appreciate the non-cleanup factor with break & bakes!!

You know- I think that is more than my husband knows how to bake. Though he can cook and does three nights a week. I love the pictures. You can tell your girls adore their dad. You are very blessed to have him.

I don't think my husband has ever donned an apron. Good for your manly man to get involved and look the part to boot.

I always tell my husband he's hot in an apron ... not sure if he believes me 'cause he always says "shut-up" hehee

We are a Lands-End loving family around here!
