i love my alone time each week with each of the girls...
and i love it more when i can shoot lots of pics and remember all the little moments later!
so...b-ster and me had alone time after voting on tuesday morn
(ok, sofie was with us, but sleeping in the stroller...and we totally did all the things b-ster wanted to do)
her pick...the park, of course!
we started with a stroll on the trails...
i love this rusty bridge
priceless...
...and a walnut for a pig nose
(which i find super funny bc i always thought they looked like owls, but b saw a pig nose)
and it totally wouldn't be my b-ster without silliness and goofy faces...
add a little bit of therapy while we're at it (OT...in case you wondered)
then grab a quick "mom, take my pic in here...it's my favorite place"
then climb, climb, climb
and slide down the super duper slide
hugs for momma and b-ster with the "most amazing leaf" she'd ever seen
...and ends with smiles and a little cooky-ness!!

National Adoption Awareness Month
There are many types of adoption available for kiddos in need of a home. Here are a few with links to explain and help you with resources...
not ready to adopt...you can still help a kid in need!
not only do we have an adoptive family, but we also foster high school kiddos too. for me, i don't really enjoy the younger ages...that's why i do high school ministry. that may not be the way you are, but there is a huge demand for foster parents.
i can tell you from my personal experience that our family is a better family for welcoming over 11 foster kids into our home, lives, and family.
so, pray about what you can do to help out a teen in need...donate your time in big brothers and big sisters; become a foster parent; donate teen friendly clothing to your local child welfare agency; become a guardian et litem. pray for them...
and remember:

Great Fall Photos!
Your pictures are gorgeous - enjoy your lovely family!!
I love that you do alone time with your girls. I hope I can do that when my kids are a little older.
The one of her with her hands folded is so beautiful! I could cry!
I think the "you don't have to be perfect to be a perfect parent" is a really effective campaign
What a great message you added at the end also!
i just got my blog made over and i am giving a make over away...send your friends!!
