Growing up...

...and Mom (me) celebrating that independence is sometimes hard.  But I love when my girls get the gumption to step and "do it".

JK is doing her best to be herself...and thus, this post.  A time to celebrate...and not notice or mention that the shoes are on the wrong feet.

This age is so much fun but also a bit sad.
They just grow up up fast.

Aw, what a big girl! Why do they always seem to get the shoes on the wrong feet? You'd think they'd get it right at least 50% of the time!

It's a mystery. But a cute mystery :)

I see this a lot at my house! Once their shoes get a little tight they seem to get it right though, hmmm.

This happens pretty often in my house as well. Do you know I got to church one day and realized my daughter had two different dress shoes on in an effort to do it herself? (mental head slap for not noticing!)

The best part of this is that they are a matched pair of shoes. My Little Jamaican will wear two right feet and I won't realize it till we are out and about and every mom on the planet is staring at her feet and snickering. I love the age of independence. :)

So hard when they are trying to be independent. I love that they try, but the ocd person in me goes crazy!

This is just ADORABLE! I love it when they want to do things on their own. Incredibly sweet.
