Karen from Rocking Pony ...lives life to the fullest, honest & fun. Angie from Seven Clown Circus ...super creative, funny and just plain awesome. Beinvenue ...a lover of all things crafty and beautiful.  she's amazing! Whatever ...so amazing. just go and see her; u won't be sorry. AVT Coach ...j ust a flat out perfect lady; love her.

cookies and pumpkins

i love my high school small group...they rock my face off!! we did 'hang time' on sunday after group (but not everyone could make it...booo) so...this is (part) of the best small group in the whole world we laughed a lot... made like 8 dozen cookies...including this pumpkin one that really didn't turn out right once cooked, so i am foregoing the finished picture. it was a good idea though... and we carved pumpkins...well, i drew on mine.  i am not a fan of the gooey guts. and in the end, we were closer than when we started. mission accomplished.

fall around the house

i'm trying to make the most of summer leaving me...and that terrible winter that is so quickly approaching.  yikes!! what always makes a lady feel better (chocolate) ...a pretty house! so I spent $5 on a few little things, and spread them around... i love this little lady...i change her goodies out each season. (ps...the rusty bucket is from grandma e's farm...the piece of tape says, "DE"...love it) i love this hurricane jar...found it a few years ago at TJ Maxx for $7...new seasons roll around and the contents change accordingly!  fun! all the inside doors on the first floor of the house have these little guys...they are actually candle rings (which makes them super inexpensive ) ...add some pretty ribbon and hang them and viola! the front door...i love this little guy. and of course, what's a new season without a new family picture...and with our little jada being official and all...it was soooo necessary!

signs that meg is in town

i have the best SIL's in the world! but when meg comes in town, things around here rock and roll...we are both 'let's do it' kinda girls...and we'll tackle anything, as long as we can finish it and make it pretty! so, i love my SIL meg, and here are a few signs that meg is in town... we are sew-aholics when we r together....the count for this three  day stint: 2 duvet covers, two shams, 2 pillow cases, two minky dots pillows, one bolster, 2 curtains. always the misc craft box...necessary items like glue guns and ribbons and buttons. an iron...my arch menasis, the necessary evil pile of finished pretty projects other pretty's!!!!   we are so stinking great together! thanks meg!! love ya!

'dopted

Here's what it looks like when an adoption takes 3 1/2 years... first, waiting in the courthouse...def no fun second, hugs from nana and candy from papa always makes things better. third, once you have that stupid stamped paper (and you swear on a lot of really dumb things that no one ever asks you for your bio kids), you are so elated, you look, well, stupid. fourth, the support and love of family is worth more than words. (see my pics from yesterday) and finally...food makes the soul feel complete!! i asked jada where she would like to go and eat after her adoption hearing. "i want pancakes, mommy. not the pancakes you make. the pancakes we buy , mommy" (check out that crazy look on her face...weird) auntie meg and finn are so much fun!

here comes the judge

The judges hammer fell...and the adoption is final! we had a little support!

adoption finalization

We are heading to court.... FINALLY!!! Adoption finalization for #3 is today! Yes...it took 3 1/2 years and we are here!!! Pics to follow tomorrow.
