and around these parts...spring means spring break. and i'm not gonna lie, it's more about me getting to the beach and having family vacation than almost anything else. wehn you have 4 girls, no matter the ages, they will torment each other. paige (in spite of the fact that she is 14 tomorrow) loves to make fun of sofie, her 15 month old sister. {stinker} so my entry for the week in i heart faces, amateur, is this shot... paige dumked sofie's feet in the very uber chilly gulf this last week and sofia, obviously, was less than impressed. there's all kinds of fun shots from all kinds of folks over at i heart faces...so go and check them out. you won't be disappointed.

my tribute today is to my oldest daughter...paige. she makes the teen years way easier than they should be! i got a letter in the mail from the school recently telling me that paige has been selected as student of the month for the second time. second time?? i didn't know about the first time. here's the convo: me: "paige, what is student of the month" p: "nothing important. something the teachers vote on. no big deal." me: "did you know you know you were selected?" p: "yep." me: "that's it. yep?" p: "i was picked as student of the week 5 times or something and this is my second time as student of the month. oh, i got this free frosty thing coupon and a free chick-fil-a nugget free coupon thingy. here, you should go and do that on your time out of the house." seriously? a teenager who isn't self indulged and self-seeking? i'm sorry...what did we do right? what has the lord blessed us with? i am than...

so in honor of tuesday whitt , one of my fav bloggy buds, kacy at chronicles of a mommy , decided to start {project happy hearts} . it's a time to remember those whom we love and cherish and have lost all too soon in our lives. enter tabitha from aFiveOh4Uplifting . ok, if you don't know this lady, you are missing out. her heart is bigger than jupiter and she gives and gives and gives...and loves every single stinking minute of it! i'm a do-er in life....i want to DO something when bad things happen...and so does kacey! i love that girl! so she decided that {project happy hearts} would be a great way to show other people in the world we love them, while at the same time, honor little, precious tuesday whitt , who we all prayed so diligently for and who is now dancing with Jesus. so what did my fam do??? well, first, in the days following tuesday's passing, we did the wagie ride and honored tuesday. you can see my post here . we also decided that our NICU where...
