one of the great joys in life is having absolutely great friends...
abby is one of them...she actually persevered living in the crazy house with us for a whole year, and still talks to us! can you even believe that?
well, miss abby married this awesome mr. blake in june of this year...and then, last week, celebrated her 25th bday! {don't even say it...i know i'm 40}
to skating we did go...ok, so the plastic skates, well TERRIBLE!!!
poor grant had skates that were 2 sizes to small. craig and beth had been skating for a bit when i got there with p and b...and then craig bit it. not pretty, but entertaining nonetheless...they all became the cheering and video taping section.
blake and cory were on total brooke skating duty...she wanted NOTHING to do with me helping her. that may have been her child instinct. probably a good call.
then paige and brooke did a little routine...which was super cute. i love my girlies.
and in the end, i was having so much fun skating with abs, that i realize i didn't get a single shot of her and i together. for that matter, i didn't get a shot of her at all! ok, i did get this one!
anyway, we hit up red robin and we did some major eating. we had 13 of us...and we ate for 40. and it was good! can i tell you about the ranch dressing at red robin? heaven in a sauce, i'm telling you!

Great shots and what a grand thing to have such a great friend!
I almost bought a pair of ice skates on ebay yesterday, but then I remembered I was pregnant and it probably wasn't a good idea. I used to be pretty good, but it's been a LOOONG time and I'm sure I'd fall a LOT!
i have no idea as to how to ice skate and i am not sure that i should try it... i don't need any broken bones right now... but it sure looked like fun and now i am hungry for some ranch dressing :-)
I found you via the Kidz blog and I'm adding you to my blogroll and grabbing your button. :) Parents like us can always use more support :D
ps Glad i could help encourage you. Trust me when i say, my daughter Stephanie was one of the worst toddlers you have EVER seen. tantrums that lasted HOURS and now...she is the dearest sweetest daughter :)
