mulan-esque moves

i was sweeping the floor one of 2,456 times last week...when my broom became a training tool.
not a house cleaning training tool...
a war fighting tool. and i have to say, the girls got some moves.

notice, if you will, the attention to detail..."little brother", the dog is also with brooke-mulan while training!

Hey, if you've got to work you should at least make it fun.

My daughter "sweeps" the floor. Needless to say, I have to follow behind and do it again. I hope she'll be as optimistic for it when it counts.

LOL!!! My kids do the same thing. Even my tween. They never seem to out grow it.

I threaten if he wants to play with...put that brushy end to the floor and 'play' his mighty little heart out.

I joke with my hubby that we could probably feed an entire third world country with the food I get off of the floor everyday! We'll give Brooke credit for being innovative!

I just love how ordinary tools become such 'extra'-ordinary when the kiddos get them. I can't say my broom has been in a fight (other than with the dust bunnies) lately, but it has served many a prop when dancing around the house! :)

And... she looks way to cute doing it in her little striped sweater. I love those sweaters!
I totally feel like we sweep 2,456 times a week to. Never does any good, so at least the broom gets to have double duty!

Oh! I love this post! We are "cleaning the witch's cottage" at our house today! I'll pull any crazy tricks I can to get these little monkeys to clean!

She definitely could give Mulan a run for her money!

OH the many uses of a broom! We just made 2 mini brooms for the twins because they were Sweep Freaks around the house.

Awesome moves! That is exactly what my boy would decide to do with a broom!

Why even bother buying toys?? The kids I nanny for spent 3 hours today playing with laundry baskets!

What adorable pictures. No ninja is going to sneak into your house.
