up , up, and away

the experiment:
what happens if a balloon is let go outside?

well, after b asked, we decided to do an experiment.
(oh it makes me smile when we do experiments...like Miss Frizz on Magic School Bus)
when u have 2 engineers as parents, this is what life is like.

The staging and countdown for lift off....

the launch...the crowd roars with excitement

then dad plays hold the kids high to see where it goes

and...it's in the clouds.  success.

a balloon will go with the wind when released outside...and that is not always straight up.

Hi!
Your post reminds me a memory when I was a child.when I was in elementaly school, teachers passed us some seeds and baloons.
We wrote something in the paper, it means we wrote our school's address and profile. Baloons went up with our letter and seed!
and then some man got it and called our school.
We were very pleased and it was very fun:)
